Los Banos Rotary Club History
Baseball Dinner Tuesday Evening

The Los Banos high school baseball team will be honored next Tuesday evening at a dinner sponsored by the Los Banos 20-30 Club and participated in by the Lions and Rotary Clubs. The affair will be held at the D.E.S. hall, starting at 7:30.

An excellent dinner is being planned for the occasion, with an appropriate program afterward. A crowd of about 150 persons is expected to attend.
All local baseball fans are invited to join the sponsoring groups in honoring the team, and may secure dinner tickets from Danny Bambauer, 20-30 Club secretary.

The Tiger baseball team won three and lost two games this year, to finish in a three-way tie for second place. Gustine won the league championship.
Members of the Tiger squad include Lee Baker, manager, Bill Buffuna, Donald L. Dambrosio, George Furtado, Pete Hernandez, Floyd Hughes, Charles Machado, Leon Martin, Raymond Manzanedo, Alfred Michelotti, Joe Nunes, Franklin Pinelli, Herman Salha (honorary captain), Ralph Rago, Pat Shea, Charles Spindt, Paul Tucci, Joe Valadoa, Richard Young, and Coach Carlyle Loftin.
