Los Banos Rotary Club History
Lions Club Has Business Session

The members of the Los Banos Lions Club held their regular monthly business meeting follow dinner at the Wool Growers Rest Tuesday evening, Vice President Joe Vajretti presided over the meeting in the absence of President Harold Humphrey.

The report of the monthly meeting of the board of directors was read and approved.

Chester Amaral, chairman of the club's Community Chest Drive committee, reported that fourteen had completed their canvass. He reported that donations, in most cases, were below last year.

John Castellucci, chairman of the committee for the payoff dinner to the Rotary Club for the softball game played last summer, announced that plans had been completed for the dinner it will be held at the Fire Department club rooms next Tuesday evening, starting at 7 o'clock.

Final business included the appointment of committees to be in charge of the Kiddies' Christmas Party, headed by Gene Bambauer, and "Teen Age Canteen Christmas party, headed by Jim Soper.
