Lions Outshoot Rotarians Again
The Lions Club is entitled to keep the annual shooting trophy as the result of defeating the Rotary Club in a 25-man team contest last Sunday at the Sportsmen's Club grounds by a score of 757 to 718, for a margin of 39 rocks. In a prior contest a team of 13 Lions defeated the Rotary team by 81 rocks.
Ray McCauley was again the Lions' high man with 45 out of 50, and Clyde Makin topped the Rotary gang with a 42. Each gunner shot at 50 birds—in a terrible wind.
