Local Speakers At Rotary Club

The Rotary Club program Tuesday noon centered on reports by Pres. W. M. Wheat, Sec. Charles Alden, and Mrs. Alden concerning activities at the recent Rotary Club Assembly at San Luis Obispo. Wheat and Alden spoke chiefly of Rotary plans and objectives as outlined at the meeting.

Mrs. Alden spoke appreciatively of a tour tendered the ladies at the convention through the famed Hearst Castle. Most amazing to her was the very elaborate "guest cabins," some of which were actually 12 and 14 room mansions. In the main house, she said, she was most impressed by the extensive collection of paintings and other art treasures.
