Magic and Illusions Show Wednesday

A magic show "for young and old alike" will be presented in Los Banos next Wednesday evening by "The Kobals", under sponsorship of the local Rotary Club. The showing will be held at the Fairgrounds auditorium, starting at 8 p.m.

Ernest Kobal, a member of the troop who has recently entertained local crowds on at least two occasions, says the show will feature many amazing magical tricks and illusions, including that of taking a girl from the audience and "floating" her in the air, and pushing a needle through the body of an unsuspecting member of the audience.

The Kobals have performed for a great variety of audiences, from Florida to California—in supper clubs, show houses and on television. At present they are on tour in central California and Los Banos is one of many cities in which their show is being presented.

Frank Peluso, as chairman of the event, says that funds collected as admissions to the show will be used in furtherance of the Rotary Club's numerous community projects, including the annual Kiddies' Christmas Party to be presented at the local theatre on Monday, December 23 for all youngsters in the community.
