Rotary Club Backs Trinity Project
The Los Banos Rotary Club has heartily, endorsed the proposed Trinity – Sacramento – San Luis Project, and have backed their endorsement with a check for $50, to be used by the local booster group actively supporting the project.
In a letter of endorsement to the Los Banos Committee for Trinity-Sacramento-San Luis, the directors stated.
The board of directors of the Rotary Club of Los Banos wish to support the efforts being taken here to advance to completion the Trinity River-San Luis Reservoir Project, which would bring irrigation water to highly productive agricultural lands of the West Side of the San Joaquin valley, which otherwise are devoid of a suitable supply of water. We are enclosing herewith a check in the sum of $50 as a contribution to the furtherance of efforts being made by your committee to bring this project to an actuality."
The letter was signed by the club president, A. Kenneth Anderson.
