Rotary Club Will Welcome Governor

The Rotary Club of Los Banos next Tuesday will be host to Joseph H. Dale, Sr., Governor of the 158th District of Rotary International, who is now making his annual official visit to each of the 34 Rotary Clubs in this district. He will address the club and confer with officers and committee chairmen on Rotary administration and service activities.

Dale is president of Dale Bros., Inc. well known coffee firm of Fresno. He has been a member of Rotary at Fresno since 1921 and was president of the Fresno Club 1932-33. In addition to his Rotary activities, Dale is a director of the Fresno Zoological Society, a past director of the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, and in past years has been active in the Boy Scouts, as troop advisor for Fresno county.

He is one of 238 district governors supervising the activities of some 8,700 Rotary clubs which have a membership of 414,000 business and professional executives in 92 counties and geographical regions throughout the world. All clubs, wherever located, are based on the same general objectives—developing better understanding and fellowship among business and professional men, promoting community betterment, raising the standards of business and professions, and fostering the advancement of good will, understanding and peace among all the peoples of the world.
