Rotary Club Will Welcome Governor

H. W. Pat Kelly, governor of District 106 Rotary International, will be in Los Banos next Monday evening and Tuesday, for conferences with Rotary President R. Lindemann and other officers and members of the club, and as an official visitor at the club luncheon Tuesday noon. Kelly is a realtor in Kern county and is a member of the Rotary Club of Shaffer. Kelly's district includes 52 clubs from Lodi to Bakersfield in the Valley, and Salinas to Los Angeles county line on the coast.

A club assembly of officers and committee heads is planned for the District Governor at a dinner to be given at the Canal Farm Inn Monday evening, where plans and policies of the club will be discussed at length, and plans made for the remainder of the Rotary year.

Kelly is one of the 173 district governors of the Rotary International who are supervising the activities of some 6,200 Rotary Clubs which have a membership of 305,000 business and professional men in 78 countries and geographical regions throughout the world. All clubs have the same general objectives—developing better understanding and fellowship among business and professional men, promoting community betterment understandings, raising the standards of business and professions, and fostering the advancement of good will, understanding and peace among all the peoples of the world.
