Rotary Conference At Merced
Officers and members of Rotary Clubs from throughout this section of the valley gathered at Merced last weekend for the annual district conference. The session is designed primarily to acquaint incoming officers with their duties of club management and to adopt district policies and programs for the coming fiscal year beginning July 1. All Rotary Clubs in this county joined as co-hosts of the convention.
The conference program includes as speakers Tully Knowles, dean of the College of the Pacific, Stockton; George Worster, 1950-51 Rotary International Director; and Joe Dale, of Fresno, past governor of District 158.
