Los Banos Rotary Club History
Tells
Of Trip To Yellowstone Park
Dr. George B. Pimentel,
one of several local Rotarians who have been vacationing recently in Yellowstone
Park, gave less fortunate members of the club an illustrated review of the scenic
wonders at the Rotary club luncheon Tuesday noon.
The hundred or so
kodochrome slides shown were taken last month by Frank Hauert and all were of
professional quality. Dr. Pimentel made a brief resume of his trip as he showed
the slides, commenting on numerous scenic attraction in Yellowstone, along the
Tejon mountain range, and in the Jackson Hole area.
Rotary president
R. Lindemann extracted a few fines and penalties from club unfortunates during
the luncheon, with several “extractions” from Dr. V. H. Menefee to
enrich the Christmas party fund. Menefee also fell heir to the Rotary rabbitry
for having missed the previous meeting.
