Rotary's Bob Green presented Melissa Sanders with a Rotary
scholarship award of $1,000.

Bob says that Rotary is giving $9,000 in academic and sports
scholarships to Central Valley students this year.

Melissa Sanders read her scholarship winning essay on "Is it Beneficial
to All Concerned?" She related how this specific one of Rotary's Four
Rules, has been her guiding principle and how its affected her life both
on and off the basketball court. Mellissa, a 2009 Los Banos High
graduate, is now attending Fresno State with her sights set on a career
in nursing.
